How to Use & Dilution Guide

Calculating Your Panel Impact Ratio (PIR):

For optimal results, Auto-Foam must be diluted based on the water volume exiting your pressure washer lance, not just what is mixed in the bottle.

1. Measure Lance Output: Fill your foam lance bottle with 1 Litre of plain water. Attach it to your pressure washer, set the flow knob to maximum foam, and discharge the entire bottle into a large bucket.

2. Measure Total Water: Measure the total amount of water collected in the bucket (e.g., 10 Litres total).

3. Calculate PIR: For a 4% PIR, multiply the total bucket volume by 0.04 (e.g. 10L x 0.04 = 400ml). Pour 400ml of Auto-Foam into your lance bottle and top up with warm water.

Application Steps:

1. Apply to Dry Paint: Spray the diluted foam evenly over the entire vehicle, working from the lower body panels upward.

2. Allow to Dwell: Let the foam dwell for 3 to 5 minutes to penetrate and break down surface grime. Do not allow the product to dry on the surface.

3. High-Pressure Rinse: Rinse thoroughly with your pressure washer, starting from the bottom of the vehicle and moving upward to maximise cleaning action, finishing with a final rinse top-to-bottom.

4. Follow with Two-Bucket Wash: Proceed with your standard two-bucket contact wash using a premium car shampoo.

Pro Tip:

In cold winter months or on heavily soiled vehicles, use a hand-pump sprayer to apply Auto-Foam at a 4% dilution directly to lower doors and rear arches before applying your snow foam layer. The direct spray provides extra dwell concentration on high-impact zones!
